O2’s first ever animated campaign, produced in support of the 2015 Rugby World Cup. Directed by Blinkink's Elliot Dear, the film shows players from the 2015 England Rugby team who grow in size in their every day lives thanks to support from the nation, until they become giants. They then embark on their journey to Twickenham ready to represent their nation.  The 2 minute long commercial required an orchestral score to help tell this story of the players bewilderment, realisation then determination for victory . The score was created very early in the process when the animation was only in sketch form and the composition then evolved as the hand-drawn animation became more detailed and complete. The final composition was then recorded live at Abbey Road Studio 1 with a 65-piece orchestra.
